Brooke is a born and raised New Yorker. She began working as a young girl in the family business at The Hit Factory Recording Studio in NYC and later moved on to a prominent career as an executive in A&R and Music Contracts working at Arista Records for Clive Davis. During this time, she headed up A&R admin for Alicia's Keys first record alongside Peter Edge. When Clive Davis departed to begin J Records, Brooke moved on to Island Def Jam Music under the helm of Lyor Cohen. Other artists Brooke worked with are Carly Simon, Pharrell Williams, Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Sean "P Diddy" Combs, Aretha Franklin, Melissa Etheridge, Bon Jovi, LL Cool J, Redman, Method Man, DMX, Kings of Leon, and Patti Smith,... to name a few.  As the music business changed, Brooke began photographing many of the talented musical artists she was working with.  Eventually she found herself in the NYC world of fashion photography and through styling her photo shoots she soon realized her true passion was none of the above.  After a cross country move to Los Angeles in 2010 and a stark realization that shooting medium format film on vintage cameras and hours in the dark room was being replaced by digital programs, the self proclaimed luddite decided that it was time to start something new.  in 2011 Brooke created her first line of dresses and began selling them out of her garage in Venice California. The line gained popularity around LA and Brooke was soon cast on the Sundance Channel's 'All on the Line with Joe Zee' alongside Nicole Richie and other prominent fashion designers. A win on that reality TV show afforded Brooke the opportunity to open her first shop in Santa Monica California.

Brooke is driven by a lifelong appreciation for effortless style and straight up fun.  She spent her weekends as a young woman scouring NYC's Chelsea flea market for vintage coats and unique treasures and you can feel that energy throughout all of her shops as they instantly transport you into her world of colorful, humorous, and never too serious inspirations.  From women’s clothing to jewelry to homewares to kids and to babies, there is something for everyone.  Most recently, Brooke found a way to merge her music business past with her present when she opened a flagship store in Austin Texas.  At the Austin store, Brooke hosts live music events during SXSW and ACL, as well as events throughout the year for various musical artists.

Come visit Brooke at any of her shops for a true peek into her take on the merging of music, art, and fashion.
